Q: How do I nominate brands and what are the criteria?
A: You may nominate brands by arranging for an appointment with us. Thereafter we will review the brand’s eligibility.
Q: We have not heard of People's Choice Award, is this new?
A: People’s Choice Award is starting in 2022.
Q: Who are the Judges?
A: There are no judges. Winners for the People’s Choice Award will be determined solely by votes cast by Malaysian consumers.
Q: Who are the Voters?
A: To be eligible as a respondent of the People’s Choice Award, voters must be: (1) a Malaysian, (2) have spending power, and (3) who are a decision-maker during spending.
Q: Can employees vote for the brands?
A: Yes, provided that the vote cast is by an employee who is an: (1) Malaysian, (2) have spending power, and (3) is a decision-maker.
Suspicious vote activity and questionable votes will be flagged and raised by the People’s Choice Award tech team to the appointed People’s Choice Award Board Members who will then verify its legitimacy.
Illegitimate votes will be removed.

A: There will be multiple contesting categories in the People’s Choice Award. Once the voting period is concluded, the respective rankings and winners for each category will be officially announced at the People’s Choice Award.

A: One benefit of the People’s Choice Award is that it serves as a benchmark and guideline for Malaysian consumers when they are searching for products and brands to purchase.
Like the world-renowned ‘Michelin Star’ that tells hungry customers which dining establishment has world-class food, the People’s Choice Award tells consumers which brands are the best. In short, the People’s Choice Award is a ‘Seal of Excellence”, which gives solid assurance to consumers.
Q: Why some of the results are blank?
A: The results are completely based on what the consumers have voted for, we do not manipulate and we do not publish the results without written consent from the organizations.
Q: Can we pay for a sponsorship fee to win a title?
A: We do not accept “Pay to Win” or “Buy a Table to Win”. Your organization has to be completely voted in order to emerge as Top 5.
